Wardens in Malta are responsible for the enforcement of numerous regulations, including those relating to traffic, littering and dog fouling.
Wardens work closely with local councils across Malta and Gozo to keep infringements of these regulations to a minimum and to reprimand or caution those who break the rules.
Wardens in Malta also offer other regulatory services, including traffic accident assistance, the remote monitoring of CCTV systems, towing, clamping and the removal of derelict vehicles, and general traffic management assistance.
Detailed information is available on the Local Enforcement System (LES) website.
